Michigan Students

A place to Study. A place to Connect. A place to Belong.

Welcome Students! We're glad you found us and look forward to meeting you. We invite you to learn more about us in a way that feels most comfortable to you. Many people first stop by for a visit or Friday lunch. We’ll have drinks, snacks, and a friendly face waiting to greet you. If walking in seems intimidating to you, please email us at info@michigancsc.org, and Heidi, our director of student engagement and hospitality, will respond to your message personally.

  • A place for you

We have three areas for students to hang out in. Our main floor is the place to bring your friends, meet new people, and engage in conversations that range from silly to serious. Our upper floor is a quiet study area - you can grab one of our free drinks or snacks and head upstairs. We also have a conference room you may reserve for any group meetings that you’d like to hold. Most weekdays of the semester, we are open from 10 AM - 6 PM. Learn more about visiting the MCSC.

  • Friday lunches: thinking christianly, living faithfully

There is such a thing as a free lunch, and it happens every Friday, here at the Center!  We start at noon and finish by 1:00 PM almost every Friday during the academic year. Sign up for our student newsletter below to get notified of our upcoming speakers.

  • Whole person formation

Imagine a place where you are invited to explore how your Christian faith informs your personal and academic life. This is what we are here for, and we offer several ways to facilitate this integration.

The MCSC has a library, book clubs, Bible studies, prayer groups, classes, and social events designed to be an opportunity for you to engage with the questions that you’ve already, and not yet, asked in a community that values authentic conversation. Sign up for our student newsletter below to get notified about these opportunities.

Program in Christian Studies

The program in Christian studies is a four-semester sequence that explores the Bible, theology, Christian history, and practice. Students may jump into the sequence at any time. Trained theologians and scholars teach the classes. And through a partnership with a local Christian university, students may take some courses for credits that transfer into Michigan.
