Kristin Wong studied at the University of Michigan in the 1980s, graduating with a BA in cello performance. After some time wandering around San Diego and Shanghai, she and her husband Phil returned to the Ann Arbor area, and after some years at home raising children (in community with friends at Knox Presbyterian Church), she went back to school to study biblical counseling. These days, she can often be found in her counseling office upstairs from Common Cup Coffee or at home trying to keep up with the garden and a growing number of grandchildren.
